Rebecca Papillons Et Abeilles, hailing from the UK, is a passionate traveler with a deep love for trekking. Having explored the picturesque trails of Europe, Rebecca always dreamed of venturing beyond the continent to take on one of the most iconic treks in the world. One day, she made the bold decision to step out of her comfort zone and set her sights on Nepal, the land of the Himalayas, to fulfill her long-cherished dream of trekking to Everest Base Camp.

The Everest Base Camp trek was no ordinary challenge for Rebecca. It tested her resilience, endurance, and spirit in ways she had never experienced before. But she faced every obstacle with determination and an infectious joy that left a mark on everyone she met along the way. During this transformative journey, she formed a remarkable friendship with Kami Rita Sherpa, the legendary mountaineer who holds the Guinness World Record for summiting Mount Everest an astonishing 30 times. This connection made her trek even more unforgettable.

Rebecca’s love affair with Nepal didn’t end there. The following year, she returned to the Himalayas, this time trekking to Annapurna Base Camp alongside her friend Kami Rita Sherpa. The serene beauty of the Annapurna region and the camaraderie she shared with Kami Rita made this experience just as profound as her first trek.

Rebecca’s adventurous spirit didn’t stop in Nepal—she went on to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, adding another feather to her trekking cap.

Nepal holds a very special place in Rebecca’s heart, and her journey with the Himalayas is far from over. She is now looking forward to trekking through the breathtaking Langtang Valley and visiting the sacred Gosainkunda Lake, immersing herself once again in Nepal’s unparalleled natural beauty and cultural richness.

Rebecca’s joyful personality and her boundless love for adventure make her an inspiration to many. She often shares her stories, reminding everyone that dreams can become reality with courage and perseverance. Nepal, with its majestic mountains and warm-hearted people, will always be Rebecca’s second home.
